Nazli Alptekin

Soprano Soloist



Ms. Alptekin was born and raised in Ankara, capital of Turkey. After completing her primary, middle and high school education, she joined the Opera-Singing Department of Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory in 1986 where for six years she was under the tuition of Professor Mesut İKTU for voice. During the same period, she completed stage performance training by Aydın GÜN, State Artist of Turkish Republic. She graduated in 1992 as the salutatorian of her class and was awarded by the Gürel Foundation.

Since the year Mersin State Opera and Ballet was founded, she has performed many solo concerts and contributed as lead singer in many orchestral works with the organization. Ms. Alptekin later moved to Izmir where she continued working as a soloist at the İzmir State Opera and Ballet where she performed the leading roles in Çardaş Princess, The Fiddler on the Rood, La Bahome, The Sold Fiance, Kiss Me Kate, Van Gogh, Yusuf and Züleyha, Murat the IVth, Don Giovanni, The Marriage of Figaro, Cavalleria Rusticana, Lüküs Hayat, Bloody Nigâr.

She debuted as a soloist in Seiji Mukaiyama’s symphonic works in 2011, and since then she appeared as a soloist in many opera, operetta, musical works and in festival and concerts abroad. Some of her international stage performances include the Hassloch Culture Festival in Germany, the Vienna ADD Turkish Composers’ Concert, and the Spring Music Festival at Bellapais.
